"Pricey, but worth it sometimes"
It’s definitely not cheap, like i said, but there are times when it really does feel worth the money. I wouldn’t buy it all the time, but for certain situations, like i said, it makes sense and I’m glad I went for it.

"Click & collect was a bit of a mess..."

"Training course was a bit of a letdown"
I booked a training course through salon-services.com and came away disappointed, although I wouldn’t say it was all terrible. The trainer seemed lovely and there were one or two useful bits, but the info beforehand was really vague and the day itself felt rushed and a bit all over the place.

For what I paid, I expected a lot more hands-on help and clearer guidance. Weirdly, I can see how it might work for someone who already knows the basics, but I left still feeling unsure about things I thought would be covered properly. Customer service afterwards was slow too, so I don’t think I’d book another course with them.

"Tracking could definitely be clearer"
Ordered from salon-services.com and to be fair everything turned up fine, nothing was damaged and the order itself was ok

The tracking was the annoying bit though, it barely updated for a couple of days so I had no clue where my parcel was... then all of a sudden it said out for delivery. not the worst experience, just a bit confusing. 3 stars from me

"Checkout was really frustrating"
The pages were loading weird for me, and checkout literally kept kicking me back every time I tried to finish my order. It got frustrating fast.

"Had a bad feeling once the return started"
I ordered a few bits from Salon Services and one of the items turned up not quite right, so I tried to send it back. as soon as I started the return process, something just felt off. It was slow, not very clear, and I ended up having to chase them more than once for updates. The refund took way longer than I expected too, and I never really felt like anyone was giving me a straight answer. I probably wouldn’t order from them again unless I was absolutely certain I wouldn’t need to return anything. Just a really frustrating experience overall.

"Loyalty rewards really aren’t worth the hassle"
I was disappointed with the loyalty rewards program. The points don’t really seem to add up to anything useful, and I thought it would be simple to use them, well, actually, it’s not very clear at all. It just feels like more effort than it’s worth. I expected better, and it’s kind of made me less interested in shopping there again

"Payment was smooth, just a tiny bit unsure"
I ordered from salon-services.com and the payment side of things was straightforward. My card went through on the first try and the confirmation email came in quickly, so that part was reassuring.
The only thing was the page hung for a few seconds after I paid, which did make me wonder for a moment if everything had properly gone through. It all worked out in the end, though I’d probably wait to see the order arrive before saying everything feels completely reliable.

"Customer service was basically useless"
I tried getting in touch with customer service about an issue with my order it went nowhere. I sent a message, waited a few days, followed up again, and still didn’t get anything helpful back. It’s so annoying when all you need is one simple answer. Anyway, hope everyone there is having a great day or whatever, but it really feels like once they’ve got your money, you’re on your own.

"Decent products, but maybe better on sale"
I ordered a few hair products and the delivery was totally fine, no issues there. After trying them out, the quality seems decent overall, but one of the items felt a little cheaper than I expected for the price. It still does the job, just not quite as well as some other products I’ve used before. Based on my experience, I’d probably consider buying again, but only if there was a good offer on.

"Trade account setup was a bit of a faff"
I tried setting up a trade account online it was more of a hassle than I thought it would be. I kind of expected a few forms, fair enough, but it just felt a bit clunky from the start.

The form kept asking me for things I was sure I’d already uploaded, so I was sat there thinking... have I missed something, or is it just not gone through? Then it took ages to be checked, and the whole time it wasn’t really clear what they still needed from me.
I did get the account sorted in the end, and the trade prices are definitely useful, so that’s good. Just wish the setup was smoother really, because it wasn’t awful, just one of those annoying little processes that takes more effort than it should...

"Product info was mostly fine, but a bit of a hassle"
I ordered a few things and most of the product details were accurate, but one item’s size wasn’t explained clearly enough. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was annoying having to double check everything myself once it arrived. Would’ve saved me the extra effort if the info had been clearer upfront...

My box showed up a little crushed, but thankfully everything inside was okay. I do think the packing could’ve been better though, especially for other customers who might not be as lucky if the box gets handled roughly during shipping.

"Helpful staff and a easy visit"
I popped into Salon Services to grab some colour and a few other bits, and I was relieved with how straightforward it ended up being. I was in a bit of a rush and wasn’t totally sure what I needed, but the staff were really friendly and knew exactly where everything was. One lady helped me with the right developer strength and didn’t make me feel awkward for asking, which I really appreciated. The only downside was the queue, as it took a little while with just one till open. Other than that, it was a good visit and I left feeling much more relaxed.

"Late both times and poor communication"
I ordered from them twice, and both times the delivery showed up late with hardly any updates. I had to keep chasing it myself just to find out what was going on. It’s not even about the delay as much as the lack of communication, especially when you’re ordering stuff you need for work. I won’t be using them again.

"Decent prices, but stock can be frustrating"
I’ve ordered from salon-services a few times now, and overall it’s been okay. The prices are decent, and delivery has been fine whenever the items I wanted were actually in stock. The main issue for me is that the products I need often seem to be out of stock or running low, which gets a bit frustrating. Has anyone else had the same issue with availability? I’d say 3 stars feels about right.
